Dedicated to Misha Morrow-Noble
Built like a Tudor building,
I prefer the Regency styling’s…
Yesterday,
It was given listed status.
I disputed the claim; it’s not worth the grade.
The façade claims menial fame,
But tight crooked rooms lie behind it.
(Though at first, they seem cosy and cool,
I hit my head on their harsh beams.)
Parts of it, viewed by certain views,
Seem almost picturesque and beautiful,
But there falling through the cracks and holes -
Damp descending through the entirety.
I made the long trip through the countryside,
Along the congestion of the M number-something…
I did it just to visit you,
I even bought the glossy souvenir book too.
Now, in light of past history I knew:
Your mother did this to you.
